Canon Communications and IPC Collaborate on Midwest’s Largest Electronics
Manufacturing Trade Show: Canon Communications LLC and IPC will jointly produce an electronics manufacturing conference and exhibition this year. Slated to be the largest event of its kind in the Midwest, Electronics Midwest (also known as AATExpo) will take place September 28–30, 2010, adjacent to O’Hare airport at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center.

MTI Electronics, a AS9100 certified Contract Electronic Manufacturer, recently announced the re-certification and approval of its International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) registration from the U.S. Department of State. ITAR is a collection of regulations created to control the manufacture, export, and transfer of defense articles, information, and services. ITAR works to keep defense technology and information within the hands of U.S. persons only. The only exception to this is when the Department of State grants special approvals for foreign subjects.
