MANUFACTURING MANAGER
MTI Electronics Inc., a rapidly growing Electronic Manufacturing Services provider of printed circuit board assembly & test, and box build assemblies has an opening for a Manufacturing Manager.
Education Qualification: Bachelors degree with emphasis in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering or Management.
Experience & Background:
• A minimum of 7-10 years of Manufacturing and Quality Assurance leadership experience with background in electronics / electro-mechanical assembly.
• Must have strong sense of urgency and bias towards action.
• Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Should have a solid understanding and implementation experience of lean manufacturing.
• Should have solid understanding and utilization of various QA and problem solving tools, APQP, and 8D methodology.
• Should be hard working with lots of initiative, a “can do” attitude, be committed, be a team player, be disciplined and self motivated.
• Has to have a passion for manufacturing excellence.
Job Functions:
• Responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the manufacturing operation and ensuring goals and objectives are met.
• Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, providing communication, feedback and ongoing support, performance reviews, discipline and issue resolution.
• Directs and maintains production schedules, establishes priorities, and maximizes the utilization of resources including machines, personnel, and materials.
• Understands and supports quality policies and implements guidelines to assure adherence to quality standards.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement necessary improvements with support from Engineering.
• Take on tasks and projects as assigned by the Director of Operations.

QUALITY INSPECTORS; SECOND SHIFT
MTI Electronics is currently seeking in-process quality inspectors to inspect electronics assemblies for both 1st and 2nd shifts.
- Knowledge of electronic components, IPC standards and the ability to work in a production line environment required.
- Previous experience working as an inline inspector on in an electronics facility would be a plus.
- Must be a self-motivated individual and work well in a team environment.
- 1-3 years experience preferred.
- Hand soldering experience would be a a plus.
- Must be able to legally work in the US without sponsorship.
